Libbey's Meat Market offers only the highest quality beef, pork, lamb, chicken and seafood available in local, western and coastal markets. We also make our own sausage (over a dozen varieties of pork, poultry and beef sausage), soups, stocks & sauces. Special orders are what we do here as every customer is special to us. Feel free to call in orders ahead at (802) 626-1029. You can also contact us via email at quality@libbeysmeats.com. Please do not leave orders for same day pick up on voice mail or e-mail as we may not be able to check them during service.

Libbey’s is a small family owned and operated meat market specializing in high quality beef, pork, poultry and Maine lobster for the retail or wholesale customer.  Located at the gateway to Vermont’s Northeast Kingdom on route 114 in Lyndonville, Libbey’s Meat Market is ideally situated to access the finest locally grown products as well as choice cuts from our western and northern producers. At Libbey’s Meat Market we are able to scour the rolling green pastures of northern Vermont, finding the finest livestock from the most discerning farms. Whether you prefer grain finished Black Angus or grass fed beef, free range pork or chicken, we pledge to supply you with the very best our state has to offer, which by all accounts is some of the finest in the country. Our proximity to interstate route 93 makes for an easy journey to the Boston meat market. This allows us to access the choice and prime products of the Western and Northern producers for which this country is known worldwide. Owners Jim and Sue Libbey, along with their highly trained staff, have over 50 years of combined experience in customer and food service as well as deep roots in the local area. Starting at the age of 15, Jim has been employed by some of the finest establishments throughout New England as an apprentice, chef and culinary educator building the knowledge and skills he now offers to all who patronize our store. This cutting edge exposure coupled with a family heritage dating back to 1800’s Lyndonville allows for a practical approach to exciting cuisines from around our region and beyond. Sue’s experience in customer service spans as many years and the cultures of the Northeast, Southwest and Southeastern United States. This, with her down to earth Vermont upbringing, offers a unique ability to anticipate and exceed the needs and expectations of even the most discerning customer. From the work ethic that can only be nurtured on the family farm to her calm welcoming disposition, Sue’s influence on the staff will be recognizable from the moment you step foot inside the building.  All who enter Libbey’s Meat Market will find the products and attitudes that are too often missing in our fast paced and highly engineered food buying experiences today.
