Behind his father’s trucking company in St. Johnsbury, 18-year-old Lincoln Lemieux rockets his custom snowmachine into the air again and again as easily as though he were walking down the street. The 350-yard-long private practice track was set up by his father, Joe Lemieux, so Lincoln could keep his snocross skills sharp.

After all, when you’re one of the youngest competitors in the pro circuit, there’s a lot to prove and a lot to prepare for.

Lincoln’s snowmachine arches 15 feet high through the air—a small jump by his standards—and lands gracefully on the downward slope of the next drift, spitting a cloud of powder in its wake as Lincoln guns it for the next jump. Click here to read more...
