It takes strong roots to achieve a vision. Whether that vision is perfectly realized Chioggia beet, as beautiful as it is delicious, or strengthening the roots of our democracy, it all takes hard work, dedication, and lots of patience. We passionately believe in the power of strong and vibrant communities, both environmentally and spiritually. After all, the deeper the roots, the greater the fruits. Our Vermont artists celebrate the digging down of it all with this show.

The Miller’s Thumb Gallery gallery will celebrate this show with an opening party on Thursday, Aug. 1 from 6-8 p.m. As always, there will be local & organic hors d'oeuvres and exhibiting artists to meet.

Free and open to the public.

The Miller's Thumb Gallery exhibits the work of over 80 Vermont artists in a historic grist mill by the shores of Caspian Lake. Female owned and female run, the gallery has a tradition of celebrating both insider and outsider art. In the center of the store you can look down the grist mill window and see the river flowing underneath the gallery. Open to the public every day through October 31st from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. in July/August and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. in September/October. For more information, please call (802) 533-2045.
